I have always loved to read in the magazines about good tips which gives me a short but useful information or an idea about how to do what ever was of interest, so I decided to do the same here, shorten the talk and write some useful quickies about how to get fit. Good luck to everyone who decides to get healthier and in shape (more inspiration ). That's your best decision ever!
People who haven't exercised in a while or haven't exercised at all often make the mistake of doing too much when they first start out. If you beginning a new regime or/and if you haven’t worked out in a while, take it easy to start with and build up gradually. For each session, add a few minutes to your workout and in time also more weight or repetitions to progress each week, depending on your goals. In a longer term you also need to change your workout to continue your progress, the body need challenges.
Get social.
Exercise with a friend or group,example dancing classes or gym classes, here a tip. That can give you the motivation you need. Experts agree that people who exercise with a buddy are more likely to get fit and stay fit. I always feel great fun what ever I do for exercise, even when I go alone, so find what you like to do and start be the best you!
Keep track of your doings.
We all tend to overestimate how much we exercise and to underestimate how much we eat!!! For some people it is of great help to keep track of how much exercise they do by keeping a journal. Another option useful to others is the wireless activity trackers available to keep a record of their activity during the day. Personally I prefer to journal, I feel better to have that knowledge available without logging in!!!
Set short-term daily /weekly goals.
It is easier to visualize progress towards short-term goals than long-term goals, so it's smart to break aims down into daily or/and weekly goals. Essential is to set real achievable goals always starting from where you are. You aren't Schwarzenegger so don't set such goals, be real!
Eat properly throughout the day.
When you're exercising you need to have enough of energy, so it's important to eat well throughout the day. So many times I have heard woman say proudly I have just ate an orange while they try to make not one but two sessions of exercise, this is a very bad idea ladies, you are not suppose to stress your body like that, Eat well/right and you will get where you aim to in perfect health!
Prepare the gym bag the night before.
Mornings can be hectic for many, having your gym bag ready the night before can be a great help. Many stressed mums say I didn't have the time to fix my bag in the morning..., so this is helpful to all stressed people.
Getting fit is about living healthy and be "fit" is about creating and living a good lifestyle to live a well balanced life in health and wellness! I'm glad if I can inspire.
