Why Latin and Oriental
Loose weight, have fun and get some great benefits for your health. My experience of the dance forms, Latin aerobic and oriental and the facts I found are equivalent. The amount of benefit you get from dancing depends on, like most exercises, the type of dancing you're doing, how strenuous it is, the duration and your skill level.

Why Latin dance: I chose Latin dance as it is one of the most aerobic forms of dance with a high energy level involved, as with most Latin dance, and  the heart rate tends to be high because of that and the blood receives higher levels of oxygen. Latin and salsa dance have been proven to be very effective in weight loss.In aerobic salsa dancing the calorie burning is even higher then in ordinary salsa dance .
When regularly performed a Latin and Salsa dance routine reduces stress and  build endurance and stamina. Which help reduce toxins in the body, can lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels.  It strengthen the bones of your legs and hips and when practised over a period of time it have been proven to decrease the heart rate.

Why Oriental Dance/Belly Dance: I chose Belly dance because of the graceful feminine moves and as it is great to strengthen abdominal muscles  perfect for good posture. The isolation of the muscles techniques require practise to control the abdominal muscles with small movements. The smaller the movement the greater the control and the exercise, that exercise mitigate pain and helps prepare women for childbirth.

Belly dance tones and firms arms and shoulders and even though the moves are soft the intensity is high and so the calorie burning and great for weight loss.  Strong abdominal muscles prevent lower back problems. The dance teaches great control of the body by the isolation techniques moving different parts of the body separately.

Both dance Types :Improve posture (all dances does), muscle toning and coordination, maintain flexibility, Strengthen the bones of your legs and hips, helps with weight loss, reduces stress, and improve mood and more.

How many calories will you burn while dancing? It depends on the dance form, take a look . And my best choice is made based on those facts and the health benefits proven!

 Swing dancing: 235 calories
 Ballroom dancing: 265
 Square dancing: 280
 Belly dancing: 380
 Salsa dancing: 420
 Aerobic dancing: 540+
