"Abs start in the kitchen"
It's all true in that saying. Right food is equal to success on your way to a flat tummy and health. I will give you here a list of my best choices of nutritious and good food for the fridge that kept me on track and I still use as a staple, to make in less time good, nutritious and tasty meals. Having good food available is essential when you want to loose weight and you need to make well-balanced meals to keep your mood and tummy happy. That will keep you away from mistakes not to grab what ever is available, when the hunger plays games with you. This kind of food will keep your belly flat and is all for a healthy lifestyle approach on a everyday basis.
Protein
1. Chicken and turkey; grilled or cooked for sandwiches, salads, snack, soups and stews.
2. Yogurt; for breakfast, smoothies as snack and a light meal.
3. Eggs; for breakfast and whole meals, as omelets or boiled in sandwiches, salads - versatile and a goldmine of nutrition
4. Green beans, green alternative; for salads, soups and stews.
Vitamins, antioxidants & fibre
1. Lettuce & greens; romaine, butterhead, arugula, spinach, kale or any of your like, besides salads lettuce is useful to wrap food and that is a good way to cut unnecessary calories and you can make green smoothies and juices.
2. Veggies; carrots, broccoli, cucumber and celery are great in salads and put texture with more fibres which fill you more, with dips and as a snack when you want something to chew on with few calories.
3. Lemons; use in dressings and lemon water - they are also great to alkaline your body besides of giving freshness and taste to your meals.
Food is as said the number one for weight loss and for a healthy living supporting and building our body. When you keep good food at home you will eat well and succeed with your intentions either it is for weight loss or start and maintain a healthy lifestyle that will also give you weight loss as an effect of eating balanced. The food above will do all that and you have many choices to make tasty and healthy dishes by always keep in your fridge. You can of course keep more than the suggested, I do.
