Christmas Spirit with Christmas Quotes & Loving Tales / The Legend of The Christmas Tree Story
At the fifth day in my Christmas spirit series I chosen a story I almost forgot as it was long time ago I read this story, the legend of the Christmas tree. Awakening memories as all the Cristmas tales, of other times as they themselves are a tale; cold winter's, snow and wood fires. In bed under the heavy, warm blankets reading with all the sweetness and expectation, one have as a child, for the tales to take over and transfer me to their wonderful place!
"Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time." ~ Laura Ingalls Wilder
The legend of the Christmas tree has several interesting stories through centuries and is a wonderful story of how the evergreen tree first became a symbol of Christmas.

"It came without ribbons! It came without tags! It came without packages, boxes or bags!"... Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before! "Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas... perhaps... means a little bit more!" ~Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
Be merry all, be merry all,With holly dress the festive hall;Prepare the song, the feast, the ball,To welcome merry Christmas. ~William Robert Spencer
"I wish we could put up some of the Christmas spirit in jars and open a jar of it every month." ~Harlan Miller

Christmas Spirit with Christmas Quotes & Loving Tales / Let Everyday Be Christmas
"I sometimes think we expect too much of Christmas Day. We try to crowd into it the long arrears of kindliness and humanity of the whole year. As for me, I like to take my Christmas a little at a time, all through the year. And thus I drift along into the holidays - let them overtake me unexpectedly - waking up some fine morning and suddenly saying to myself: "Why, this is Christmas Day!" ~ David Grayson
A favorite poem that express how I feel is "Let everyday be Christmas" it is a short and inspirational poem, written by Norman Wesley Brooks, ideal for the Christmas get together and bring out the true meaning of the festival. We shouldn't wait for Christmas to love, care and nourish in our Every-Day don't you agree? So.....

Christmas Spirit with Christmas Quotes & Loving Tales
"Christmas is about sharing love"
With only a week left to Christmas day and all the things left to do you are undoubtedly in need of a respite.
I would like to make a gift to you and connect with the Christmas spirit by giving you each remaining Day quotations and Christmas tales so you can have a breather and spend time with your loved ones or just for you reading beautiful Christmas stories. Its a great way to be reminded about the meaning of Christmas and why it's the most important and magical holiday of the year!
With my best wishes to a Merry Christmas with Love!
"Remember, if Christmas isn't in your heart you want find it under a tree."
As first tale I love to present "The legend of the Christmas rose". A short beautiful tale I found on worldonchristmas.net is teaching that no matter what your gift is it has to be from your heart, and a reminder that the gesture is what counts!
