What's for Dessert and a Good One

and I can proudly say; Love I solved your problem




Who don't have an issue with desserts, good ones, bad ones, light, heavy, eat not eat, sweet how sweet, what to sweet with, healthy .... in to eternity. So


 " Whats for Dessert and a Good One "

What is known by now is that sugar is apparently added (read labels) in much of our food. That's one bad story because it is also known by now that sugar increase inflammation in our body and inflammation is a bad guy, causing much trouble with all kind of sicknesses. We need to reduce if not eliminate sugar, where it's possible. At the same time we also need to be realistic and just do the best....

I can honestly say that I'm not the one, at least yet, that will stop eating sweet things but I'm the one who like to use better alternatives, always improve based on knowledge and the fact we are not suppose to overeat anything actually, even good food become bad because of that! Eat consciously, enjoy what you eat, which means eat slowly to enjoy your food. What happens when you practice conscious eating is that many issues will solve them selves, such as obesity, common overweight and type 2 diabetes. 

With that said Back to the Sweetness and what I want to share with you is that I have a rule which help me balance the decision of  " Whats for Dessert and a Good One ".

I understood after all the years of gatherings and celebrations what is good and not so good about what to have as dessert and the conclusion was simple the rule of balance in planing the menu.


The rule of balance for menu
1. when having heavy main dish/es - light dessert/s
2. when having light main  - you can choose heavier
3. same for buffet which means you can have a mix of both depending on the dishes

the key is balance and that is for life too...

and to the Good One; what is a good dessert? If I can have a dessert which combines good taste, flavor, health, no weight gain gorgeousness and not least simplicity and be able to fix a quick but decadent dessert, that's a good one to my preferences, here a sample you will love.  Another preference and not always the healthiest is also one that makes me feel I have the heaven in my mouth. Having in mind though that if you do take care of you most of the time then indulging isn't that bad as it gives you such great pleasure, happiness and joy, again there is the balance! 

All the talk lead to end to another delicious example of my creative mind and to serve the above criteria about simple heavenly sweet decadence. I find the most simple to be many times the best. What requires in simplicity is the best ingredients to have the best taste (always required the best when possible but more significant). 




Mango - Choco Tail

You need
1/2  mango for each serving
good quality dark chocolate in pieces to arrange

How to..
Peel the mango with a sharp knife or a peeler, cut lengthwise into two pieces and slice each piece to equal parts. Tilt the knife lightly while slicing. Place on plate and arrange a beautiful tail. Set the chocolate as the base and your Mango -Choco Tail is ready! 

A good quality dark chocolate is rich in taste, this one on picture is 80%  and then the fresh sweet juicy mango, sweet enough to match the delicate bitterness of the chocolate, those qualities together makes this simple but decadent dessert to a winner in many levels. The eye beauty of the colors in the composition, the good combination in flavors, the magic only two ingredients can create and we are talking here about superfoods, yes it is a winner made in no time just with love and good taste! 
Well and little mango cutting technique ;)
